BE CURIOUS, NOT JUDGEMENTAL
"Be curious, not judgmental" is a phrase that encourages people to be more open-minded and less judgmental when approaching situations.
Be more aware of your reactions, slow down and observe yourself. Ask questions and listen, and listen with the intent to understand.
Being judgmental can lead to adverse reactions, such as anger, frustration, or disappointment. It can also cause you to miss out on important details that could change how you perceive someone or a situation.
Being curious can help you remain open to productive solutions.
Think about how much we don't know about each other. Consider all the times you may have judged someone because you didn't fully understand them - or times you've felt judged because someone didn't fully understand you.
"Be curious, not judgemental." - Walt Whitman
