Resources

At Friday Calls, we care deeply about your well-being.

We’re honored to share these national and local resources that can offer support in times of need. If you ever find yourself in an emergency, please call emergency services right away.

The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is a national hotline offering one-on-one support for mental health, suicide, and substance use-related problems for anyone 24/7. No matter where you are in the United States, you can call or text 988, or chat online at 988lifeline.org, to connect with a skilled and compassionate crisis counselor.

The Trevor Project is the leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention nonprofit organization for LGBTQ+ young people. They provide information & support to LGBTQ+ young people 24/7, all year round.

As the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence nonprofit, RAINN provides 24/7 crisis support, prevention education, and public policy advocacy to help survivors, stop harm, and enable justice.

Start Out Fresh Intervention Advocates (fondly referred to as S.O.F.I.A.) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides advocacy, supportive services, and referrals for temporary housing to “at-risk” women and children of domestic violence.
